HOW LEADERSHIP

HOW is seeking dedicated volunteer board members who will partner and work alongside us, guiding our mission, and providing high-quality programs for the clients we serve. Individuals with lived experience of homelessness or housing instability are especially encouraged to apply. 

Top Board Member Responsibilities:

Serve as an active advocate and ambassador for the organization

Help identify and secure financial resources and partnerships necessary for the organization to advance its mission 

Leverage connections, networks, and resource to develop collective action to achieve the organization’s mission 

Make a meaningful personal financial donation. Board members with lived experience of homelessness are exempt. 

Advocating for policies and practices that support housing stability and reduce barriers to housing.
