Who We Are
HOW's Associate Board is a group of energetic young professionals from the Chicago area who are passionate about ending homelessness in our community. Associate Board members come from a wide variety of professions and backgrounds and use their unique strengths to promote HOW’s mission.
What We Do
The HOW Associate Board hosts a series of events throughout the year to spread the word about HOW’s transformative approach to ending homelessness. These events introduce HOW to new audiences while raising money to support HOW’s work. The Associate Board also provides opportunities for networking, socializing, and professional development for its members.
HOW Associate Board members:

Spread the word about HOW’s life-changing approach to ending homelessness and help us reach new audiences of potential supporters and clients.

Commit to a renewable one-year term as a board member.

Attend monthly board meetings.

Make a meaningful personal financial contribution to HOW.

Plan or assist with events throughout the year to raise awareness and funds to support HOW’s work.

Serve on committees or as executive board members (i.e. Volunteering & Partnerships, Membership, or Fundraising committees).

Take advantage of opportunities for networking, socializing, and professional development offered for Associate Board members.
