Back 2 School Drive
Of the 1,200+ clients HOW serves, over 400 of them are children. As we approach the start of the school year, HOW is working to ensure our students are prepared and ready to return to in-person learning.
For students who have experienced housing insecurity, school is sometimes the only stable and reliable thing they can count on. However, simple things, such as a lack of supplies, can become barriers to a child's success in school. We work to help provide stability outside of school in ensuring that students have a place to call home, but need your help to make sure they have the supplies they need. HOW's Back 2 School drive's goal is to provide 200 backpacks filled with supplies to provide crucial support to the kids that need it most.

Want to maximize your giving? By donating directly, you are allowing HOW to purchase school items in bulk to keep costs down. Just $10 can fill a backpack with the purchase of bulk supplies. Monetary donations also allow HOW to help support families with some of the other costs involved with going back to schools such as school fees and uniforms.
