For 35 years, HOW has been creating opportunities and rebuilding lives for individuals and families in need. HOW was at the forefront of implementing the Housing First model in Chicago decades ago, and in the years since has continued to be a leader in providing innovative solutions to prevent and address homelessness by offering housing as the essential building block for stability and future success.
Today, as the city’s third largest provider of supportive housing, HOW remains true to its mission of empowering individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Corporate, civic, philanthropic, and community leaders joined together at HOW’s 35th Anniversary Benefit to help support the agency’s legacy of transforming lives. The evening featured a cocktail reception, seated dinner, and an inspiring program featuring Cook County State's Attorney Kimberly Foxx and the voices of those who are a part of HOW’s remarkable achievements and enduring impact.
