This year’s live action included twelve unforgettable items and the effervescent presence of our emcee Val Warner. What rounded out the evening was Honorary Chair, Emery Moorehead, 1985 Super Bowl Champion, Chairman, North Shore Barrington Board of Realtors as he shared the value in building the tools necessary in life to be successful and self-sufficient.

HOW was delighted to share the evening with Denise Charleston and her children. Her story of personal strength and perseverance inspires staff, board, and volunteers alike to continue working towards our goal of helping women achieve self-sufficiency, stability and economic independence.
