Harvest of Hope 2010

HOW held its 4th annual meeting on Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus in Rogers Park. This is an event that brings HOW’s stakeholders together, including volunteers, donors, staff, board members, clients and community partners. Each year Harvest of Hope grows in attendance, this year was no exception as we welcomed over 160 guests.

We would like to thank our featured speaker, Rosanna Márquez, CEO, Eleanor Foundation. Rosanna highlighted the importance of investing in women, evidenced by the Foundation’s support of HOW’s Center for Working Women. Additionally, Representative Harry Osterman encouraged all present to use their voices in the upcoming election and vote.

Finally, HOW honored nine women who all have made tremendous strides towards self-sufficiency.
